Charismatic criminal, PATRICK, and his gang of misfits get away with a priceless religious icon from a Russian oligarch’s collection but during the heist, they encounter his Komodo Dragon and it takes a bite out of GEORGE, the art dealer who is supposed to sell the ill-gotten gains.
With George dying of blood poisoning, the gang bolt to the isolated childhood home of Patrick’s undercover-cop girlfriend, CAROLINE, and take her sister HONOR (a nurse) along to keep George alive long enough to give up the name of his buyer.
Caroline is furious that Patrick has involved her innocent sister but quickly discovers that Honor is also involved with Patrick. Meanwhile, clean-freak BRUNO can’t cope with the grime in the long-abandoned farmhouse and scaredy-cat heavy, CLIVE, is terrified of the dark, spiders, and just about everything else.
Things soon take a turn for the even worse - a storm approaches, George dies, and Honor is discovered lying dead with a knife at her side. Suicide is the verdict. But Caroline is now haunted by Honor, who says it was murder not suicide and Caroline is forced to suspect each of her companions.
Only after DENIS DENISOVICH and his militia arrive, and a massive gun battle leaves all but Caroline and Patrick dead, does Caroline finally discover the heartbreaking truth.

A nurse, with a history of self-harm, she’s never grown up.

Handsome, dangerous and charismatic. He’s the man your mother warned you against but you love him anyway.
CLIVE
A heavy who doesn’t really want to hurt anyone. He’s scared of everything, from the dark to spiders, but he’s secretly in love with his boss’s girl and for her he’ll face death.
BRUNO
Psychopath and obsessive, compulsive clean freak. Don’t touch him or he’ll slit your throat while you sleep.
GEORGE
Old Etonian art dealer who should have known better but he has expensive taste and the ancestral pile went to his brother.
MAGGIE
She looks sweet but she’s a tough old bird. She’s run the village store forever and knows everyone’s business.
DENISOVITCH
He’s the guy even the bad guys are scared of.
